2010-09-26: Parsley 2.3.1 Bugfix Release
This release contains a number of fixes for issues that surfaced after the final release of version 2.3, with some of them being quite critical. Since the new release is fully backwards-compatible to all preceding 2.3.x versions it's recommended to update immediately.
The most significant fixes in this release were:
- Support for declarative popups based on the Cairngorm 3 Popup Library introduced with version 2.3.0 was broken.
- An intermittent issue caused memory leaks when unloading Flex Modules loaded into a child ApplicationDomain.
- Using the new Decoupled Binding facility based on the [Publish] and [Subscribe] tags was broken when used with a custom scope instead of the default global or built-in local scopes.
- Workarounds for an issue caused by flaky stage events in native AIR windows preventing the automatic removal of Contexts in AIR windows have been documented in the manual in the section on Flex Popups and AIR Windows
